Carol Reid, a researcher at the University of Melbourne (UoM) Department of Rural Health (DRH) is undertaking an evaluation of a 12 month project involving a variety of Health Services across this regional and rural area. The project is funded by Better Care Victoria (BCV).
The evaluation requires an independent expert (herself as a researcher) to gather information and provide unbiased results about the project. An important part of this work is seeking the views of different people where the project health services are located in the Moira Shire and part of the Campaspe Shire.
Carol has approached us to ask a few, very broad questions.
An example questions asked would be:
1. Thinking about a situation where the GP clinic is closed and you are unwell (even a minor injury or accident) – not requiring an ambulance – what immediately comes to your mind:
a. Where to ask for advice or care (for yourself or family) if you had a health worry?
b. Where to go to for advice or care (for yourself or family) if you had a health worry?
Carol would also like to get your general view on a visual information campaign that is part of the project.
All feedback and views will be anonymous and non-identifiable when combined into the evaluation results. Your input is voluntary.
Carol will be at the Katunga Football Netball Club – Netball Rooms on Thursday 9 August at 7:30pm. Anyone interested in participating are urged to attend.
Location
Katunga Recreation Reserve - Netball Rooms
