⚠️ IMPORTANT MESSAGE - Travel Restrictions

4 Jun 2021 by KFNC Secretary

Please refer to the information below in relation to advice we have received from the Blighty Football and Netball Clubs and the Edward River Shire.
NSW Cross Border Assistant Commissioner has distributed the following statement regarding weekend sport under the NSW Public Health order.
“For Victorians entering NSW, they can do so under the following conditions – which are detailed here ”https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/interstate-hotspots">https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/rules/interstate-hotspots
- obtaining food and services
- travelling for the purposes of work or education if you cannot work or study at home
- medical care or
- exercising outdoors – including outdoor sports
This means that Victorian residents can enter NSW to participate in organised outdoor sporting activity, and purchase food at these events. This does not cover Victorian spectators at these events and it does not allow for participating in social activity after the event. If they are travelling to these events as an employee then they can do so “for the purposes of work”.
Vic border residents: do not need to complete a travel declaration
Other Victorian residents: need to complete a travel declaration.
Travel declarations are available here https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/complete-nsw-entry-declaration-victoria”
Katunga Football Netball Club wish to therefore advise all players, members and supporters that only the following persons should travel to Blighty tomorrow:-
👉 Listed players (both netballers & footballers);
👉 Team/Match volunteers (Scorers, Time Keepers, Umpires (Central, Goal, Boundary, Netball), Team Managers etc.);
👉 Junior guardians.
We thank you all for your continued patience and understanding as this updated information continues to come to hand to ensure we keep our communities safe.
Go Swans! ⚪🔴
